The 42-year-old actress took to the red carpet in an open-back evening gown that showed off a Thai tattoo, a tribute to Brad Pitt she got in 2016.
During the filming of The First They Killed My Father, ex-monk Ajarn Nu Kanpai got three intricate tattoos on Angie’s back.
The tattoos were done using steel rods mounted with a surgical steel needle – a painful process considered more accurate than a modern tattoo gun. A tattoo that “tiedHer with husband Brad Pitt, was taken shortly before the couple parted ways.
The film “First They Killed My Father” was filmed in Cambodia, in the homeland of Jolie and Pitt’s eldest son, Maddox. Angelina said she fell in love with Cambodia while filming Tomb Raider.
